  • Skills-Map – the skills map documents the regional qualification deficits, how older employees, pensioners and companies imagine integration into the world of work in retirement and which different legal framework conditions in the participating countries/regions hinder or promote this integration.
  • Research Report – empirical research study includes qualitative interviews, focus groups and surveys in all participating countries (Austria, Germany, Finland and Latvia). The focus groups were conducted with two target groups: 1) people aged 55+ who are employed in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), 2) managers, decision-makers, e.g. HR managers of small and medium-sized enterprises.
  • Trainingsbox – two training courses will be developed for the two project target groups: 1) people aged 55+ and 2) small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). These will identify the regional skills shortages, match the skills currently in demand and bring people and companies together at three regional job fairs in Finland, Austria & Latvia.
  • White Paper – the world of work for people aged 55 and over is relevant for companies of all sizes and sectors. Organizations such as the chambers will use their extensive network to publicize the project results and the importance of integrating older talent into the labour market. The results of the study and the pilot phase as well as the resulting recommendations will provide concrete measures and incentives for decision-makers in politics and business. Above all, the document serves as a practical guide for other regions, managers and companies.

We are happy to share our first experiences and impressions from the focus groups with you:
